ASSOCIATION.
President
Charles is responsible for the overall management and direction, subject to the authority of the members of the Nyumba Community Association and transaction of the affairs of the Association. He presides at all meetings of the members of the Association and of the Board.
vice president / /Membership Director
Veronica is the principal assistant to the president. In the absence of the President, the Vice President performs the duties and exercises the powers bestowed to the office of the President.
Veronica is responsible for membership affairs inter alia recruitment, membership services etc.
Social Director
Assumpta co-ordinates social activities for Nyumba which include barbecues, dinner parties, cultural gatherings etc. She announces all weddings, childbirth, irua (coming of age) or other cultural events and membership social issues.
treasurer
Kigunda keeps full and accurate books of account and control disbursement of funds of the Association. He reports to the members the current financial position of the Association at the general meetings.
assistant secretary
Lydia keeps record of all meetings of members and directors. She gives all notices to members and directors and provides custody of the Association intellectual property.
assistant treasurer
Assistant Treasurer deputises the office of Treasurer. In the absence of the Treasurer, the Assistant Treasurer performs the duties and exercises the powers bestowed to the office of Treasurer.
Chief Returning officer
Paul is responsible for all elections, referenda and plebiscites.
assistant Social Director
Waceke ably deputises Social Director. In the absence of the Social Director, the Assistant Social Director performs the duties and exercises the powers bestowed to the office of the Social Director.
Emergency Director
Cecilia co-ordinate Nyumba`s response to bereavement.
Assistant Emergency Director
Assistant Emergency Director ably deputises Emergency Director. In the absence of the Emergency Director, the Assistant Emergency Director performs the duties and exercises the powers bestowed to the office of the Emergency Director.
Youth Director
Evarita co-ordinates and promotes youth engagements.
Chaplain
Rev Ann provides spiritual guidance and chaplaincy as per need basis.
